About four years ago my fiancé at the time stumbled across this beautiful little duplex in the South Eugene area. At the time we were looking for our first place together after we were married and this seemed to check all of the boxes of things we were looking for in a first home. As luck would have it David Baslaw was the landlord. Long story short we end up getting the opportunity to rent the duplex and did so for three years. After three years of renting with David we were now ready to buy our first home. Before we even found a home David got us set up with a lender and walked us through what the process would look like once we found the house we wanted. It was a great preview for us and helped us tremendously with what to expect once we actually submitted an offer. As we were looking for a house David set up an email system that allowed us to see all new houses that went up that met our criteria. My wife found one that was perfect for us and contacted David to set up a viewing shortly after. After seeing the house, he helped us immediately put a competitive, fair offer together and it was accepted within the next 36 hours. We have now been in the house two months and it has been a great transition making it feel like our own. David still checks in with us and even came by to look at the changes we have made in the short amount of time. Throughout the whole process of buying our home David kept us informed, fought for what was best for us, and helped ease the hectic processes of buying a home. We are grateful for what he has done for us from the time we were his tenants to now as homeowners. We recommend you talk to David if you are in the market for a new home and want an excellent realtor on your side.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dave is truly amazing, and I will recommend him to anyone and everyone who asks along with anyone who doesn't ask. To spare you a long drawn-out story he went above and beyond every expectation.
